Application Procedures
Performers
Please submit the following material:
1. Completed application form
2. Nonrefundable $60 application fee
3. Good quality recording of two pieces of contrasting style, solo and/or concerto.
Portions of work may be used, e.g. one movement of a sonata. Recordings may
be in the form of videotape (both American NTSC and European PAL systems
are acceptable), audiocassette, CD, or DVD. Please do not send original copies.
The Institute is not responsible for returning any of the recordings.

The Twelfth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition
In order to ensure seats, it is imperative that you order your tickets EARLY. Tickets will be reserved
for you as soon as the Ticket Order Form is submitted. Payment will not be processed until your
participation in the 2005 TCU/Cliburn Piano Institute is confirmed.
Reminder: Only applicants of the 2005 TCU/Cliburn Piano Institute are eligible to order the Cliburn Competition tickets through this website. If you do not intend to apply to the Institute please order your
